Tomás is a member of the group ¡Viva La Pepa! Their new CD is now available from cdbaby ¡Viva La Pepa! delves into medieval, renaissance and traditional music from Spain and France. The main members, Tom Lozano, Rima Montoya, Sharon Berman, and Juan Wijngaard, have performed throughout Europe, Central and North America. ¡Viva la Pepa! uses a variety of instruments, including Spanish lute, guitar, psaltery, hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, tromba marina, accordion, woodwinds and percussion, combined with their voices. Their repertoire ranges from 13th century cantigas to contemporary village music of Spain and France, the Sephardic oral tradition as well as their own compositions. |
